Sutter Instruments MP-85 Micromanipulator Right Hand on a Magnetic Rotating Base. This instrument has a large range of motion from a built-in coarse three axis manipulator mounted on top while precise submicron movement is accomplished with the large Mitutoyo micrometers mounted on the base. These ultra fine micrometers provide smooth, precise movement through a 10:1 reduction mechanism. All mounted on a heavy 15lb stainless steel frame and base that has excellent damping properties. Excellent, barely used condition with no cosmetic issues and all functions have been tested and confirmed in excellent working order. The chrome surfaces are pristine mirror like bright and reflective, no corrosion is found anywhere on the instrument. All micrometers operate smoothly over their entire range of motion.
