Runs on +5VDC with simple RS-232 interface. The connector has 5 pins (4 are used): 1 - +5VDC; 2 - ground; 3 - data from module; 4 - data into module. In my circuit the microprocessor ran on +5V too so the data lines went directly to/from the uP.
