Glass funnels containing fritted discs are especially useful where filter paper would be attacked by the material being filtered. Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements. The disc should not be subjected to pressure differential in excess of 1 atmosphere. The top edge is beaded.
