If your couplers have old rubber, you may experience water and air leaks, resulting in poor handpiece performance.Star handpieces require a different gasket that other handpieces, due to Star using a smaller diameter drive air tube.Standard gaskets allow air leaks and reduced RPMs. All parts are autoclavable. This offer is for 6 sets of Star coupler O-rings and gaskets to fit 4 & 5 hole & 6 pin Star couplers. For 6 pin Star couplers, this gasket is a workaround. There is no aftermarket source for 6 pin Star gaskets. The gasket provided will be a 5 hole gasket. I have used these for 6 pin coupler repairs and they are functionally sound.
