This item consists of 4 lbs of hand-chopped copper that is 99.9% pure and made up of #10 and #12 clean copper scrap wire. A great majority of this solid wire is cut into small nuggets ranging from 1/8" to 1/4" long. This copper was originally intended for use as a polishing media in a rotary bottle tumbler (For cleaning/polishing antique bottles) but this copper has many uses including jewelry making, decorative uses, resin art, metal casting and foundry work. For container size reference, this 4 lbs of copper will be shipped in a 12 oz plastic bottle. Photos are not stock and depict the actual unit that you will receive.
