KUM 420SG Magnesium Single Hole Block Profile Pencil Sharpener Block profile, "Softie" grip zone Made by KUM, this 420SG single hole sharpener is excellent quality and provides precise sharpening, comfort and stability. Made from milled magnesium alloy, the 420SG has special "Softie Grip" finger grips in soft black foam rubber. These give you greater stability when sharpening and allow for complete control when sharpening, giving you sharper and more precise points. It is suitable for round, hexagonal and triangular profile pencils. Special KUMINOX coating on the magnesium surfaces of the sharpener protect against corrosion and provide a silky matte finish. Suitable for 8mm pencils. Replaceable quality blade is made of specially hardened steel. 1" long (25 mm) x 11/16" wide (16 mm) x 1/2" high (12 mm). Made in Germany. KUM Blades: All KUM sharpeners are equipped with ultra hard (65 hrc) and razor sharp high carbon steel blades. These blades are harder than ball bearings or any high quality knife. This is needed because pencil leads are made of a mixture of graphite and various types of clay, which are extremely hard. Each blade is razor-sharp.
