The SS79XX negative discrete voltage regulator has a fixed output voltage that can range from -3.3V to -24V with over 1 Amp of available output current. These devices can be used to replace the inferior monolithic voltage regulators in audio systems to improve power supply performance. They are compatible with the 79XX family of voltage regulators and will outperform all monolithic voltage regulators in a TO-220 package in input rejection, output noise, transient response, and line and load regulation.
